Der NPort Z2150 ist zu IEEE 802.15.4/ ZigBee-konform und stellt eine betriebssichere funkgestützte Lösung für seriell-zu-ZigBee-Netzwerke dar, die mit einem Minimum an Verkabelung auskommt.
Der NPort Z2150 kann als ZigBee-Koordinator (ZC), ZigBee-Router (ZR) oder ZigBee-Endgerät (ZED) konfiguriert werden. Jedes beliebiges serielle Gerät kann an den NPort Z2150 angeschlossen werden und Daten über PAN austauschen.
