We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to make changes to the NPort S9650I Series because of component end of life.
These changes will be implemented by September 01, 2025.
Please review the details below to determine how these changes will affect your products and/or operations.
What will change?
The following component changes will be implemented in the new version of the NPort S9650I Series:
- Flash ROM
- Real-Time Clock (RTC)
The new hardware functions stay the same as the current version. The new firmware will work on the current and new version of the hardware; however, the current and older firmware will not work on the newer version of the hardware.

There will be no impact on the configuration file; the file exports from the older version can still be imported to the newer version.
All products? warranty statements remain the same for the new and older hardware.
