Das integrierte Modul EM-1220-T verfügt über zwei serielle RS-232/422/485-Ports, zwei Ethernet-Ports und einen SD-Sockel zur externen Speichererweiterung. Das Modul bietet ein kompaktes Design, das sich leicht mit industriellen Anwendungen integrieren lässt. Hierzu zählen Tankstellen, Verkaufs- und Ticketautomaten. Das Gerät bietet eine außerdem leistungsfähige serielle Kommunikationsfunktion für die bessere Systemintegration. Programmierer werden durch die vorinstallierte, betriebsbereite μClinux-Plattform und das voll funktionsfähige Entwicklungs-Kit bei der Entwicklung von Software und zuverlässiger Kommunikationsgrundlagen für industrielle Automatisierungsanwendungen unterstützt. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht der erweiterte Betriebstemperaturbereich des Modells EM-1220-T auch die Bereitstellung zuverlässiger Lösungen in rauen Umgebungen.
